Rustic Atmosphere

The cottage was everything we could dream of! A relaxing winter couples weekend was just what we wanted and Margaretha was a fabulous host. She answered all of our questions and replied very quickly. The cottage was very clean and had everything, even a little welcome package of sweets and treats! The hottub was a lovely bonus with all the snow We highly recommend this cottage as a getaway and would love to rent again in the summer months!

Margaretha's place is idyllic in the winter time! Peaceful and quiet all day and night. We were looking for a Valentines Day escape and that's exactly what we got. It's hard to capture the beautiful scenery covered in snow in photographs. Her directions are clear when checking in and while staying with the little notes she has made. Everything was even shovelled out for us when we arrived even with all the snow. The indoor stone fireplace and hot tub on the deck were both perfect and relaxing. We definitely would like to return in the summer and fall to see the difference in the area. Highly recommend checking it out!

A beautiful cottage in a very pretty part of cottage country. Right on a beautiful placid lake, with a hot tub overlooking it. Inside is cosy and very well equipped. The big stone fireplace was perfect for winter.
